We clean water and the Environment
for life
About Us
Access to safe drinking water is a human right. Still million of people around the world do not have access to safe and clean drinking water. In many places, wood is burned to disinfect the contaminated water. Burning wood leads to deforestation, erosion and CO2 emissions. Tusafishe is an initiative installing water purification systems to underprivileged communities, giving access to clean and safe drinking water.

Our current focus is on large rural communities including refugee settlements and schools. The projects include installation of community scale purification systems, institutional scale pufication systems, training of local women to install domestic filters and planting of Moringa trees.
Pasindi Project
Pasindi is a village in Tororo District, a population of over 3,000 people depend on an open well, they enter the well with dirty feet, cattle drink from the same well, people bath and wash their feet in the water. This is the water more than 3000 people use in their homes for everything including drinking.
